DJC: Triangular Shawl is a shallow triangle. First published in the Interweave Special Crochet Issue 2004 this little crochet shawl has a pretty openwork stitch and embellished with optional all-over beads that are slipped on as you go.

Included in this New Edition

  • New stitch diagrams
  • Expanded sizes
  • Fresh samples in a variety of yarns and gauges from worsted to sock weight.

Skill Level

Intermediate. Since this little beaded crochet shawl first appeared in the legendary but out of print premier of Interweave’s Special Crochet Issue in 2004, Doris has considered revisiting the design.

There are instructions for several specific sizes/yarn weights as shown in the various samples, as well as suggestions for adjusting as desired. For the original sample, in worsted weight yarn, the shawl measures 56″ wide, 22″ deep at the back point, requiring approximately 350-400 yd.
